Hyrule Warriors Legends 3DS Reveals Female Link, March 25 Date, Limited Europe Edition

Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Direct presentation on Thursday that its Hyrule Warriors Legends Nintendo 3DS game will include a new character called Linkle — essentially a female version of the series' main character Link.

The character first appeared in 2014 in the official art book for Hyrule Warriors, which described her as a "female version of Link."

Other new characters include Toon Link, the King of Hyrule, Tetra from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and the Skull Kid from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Europe will receive a limited edition with a compass:

The game is a Nintendo 3DS version of the original Hyrule Warriors Wii U action game. Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo's Dynasty Warriors developer Omega Force developed the game. It is slated for release in Japan on January 21, and in the West on March 25.
