Manga to get special chapter in December

This year's December issue of Shogakukan's Corocoro Comics published the final chapter of Posuka Demizu's Maō Da Ze! Oreca Battle (I'm the Demon King! Oreca Battle) spinoff series on November 15. A special chapter will appear in CoroCoro Special's February issue at the end of December. The second and final compiled volume will ship at the end of January.

The series launched in March after Satoshi Yamaura's Monster Retsuden Oreca Battle (Monster Chronicles Oreca Battle) manga ended. The manga follows the demon king Ginger-ale, who becomes human and must battle monsters in order to return to normal.

The franchise has inspired two other manga spinoffs in Coro Coro Comics: Hideki Gotō's gag manga Daishūgō! Oretachi Oreca!! (Big Gathering! We are Oreca!!) and Posuka Demizu's Oreca Monsters Bōken Retsuden (Oreca Monsters Adventure Chronicles).

The arcade card game launched in Japan in 2012. Crunchyroll streamed the anime adaptation as it aired.
