Concrete Revolutio Gets 2nd Season in April
posted on by Egan Loo
The streaming service Daisuki reported on Friday that a second season of the Concrete Revolutio (Concrete Revolutio: Chōjin Gensō) anime will air next April.
The series premiered in Japan on October 4. Anime Consortium Japan is co-producing the anime, and it is also streaming the series on Daisuki as the anime airs in Japan. FUNimation Entertainment is also streaming the anime.
Funimation describes the story:
What if superhumans were real? Even better, what if every fabled superhuman existed at the same time, in the same place? Titans from outer space, life forms from a mystical world, phantoms and goblins from ancient times, cyborgs created by scientists, relics that rose out of the ruins of ancient civilizations. In another Japan, it's not just a question of “what if”—it's a reality. Some of the superhumans choose to keep their identities a secret, while others bask in their superhuman fame. Jiro Hitoyoshi, member of the Superhuman Bureau, keeps track of their doings.
The series reunites the main staff from Fullmetal Alchemist. Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Un-Go, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Hanamaru Kindergarten) is directing the series at BONES, and Shō Aikawa (Fullmetal Alchemist, Un-Go, Ghost Slayers Ayashi, Martian Successor Nadesico) is in charge of series composition. Masafumi Mima (Attack on Titan, Paprika) is serving as sound director.
Update Masaki Tsuji and Gen Urobuchi will contribute to the scripts. Thanks, AnimusPrime
