1st Kizumonogatari Film's New Ad Aired

A commercial for the first Kizumonogatari film, Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen (Blood and Iron), aired on Saturday.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life. North American publisher Vertical released the novel in English this month.
The film project is a trilogy, and the first film will open on January 8, and it is listed with a runtime of 60 minutes.
Akiyuki Simbo is once again credited as chief director at the anime studio SHAFT. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are designing the characters. Yota Tsuruoka is directing the sound, and Satoru Kousaki is composing the music. Tatsuya Oishi is the director.
