Both manga tentatively slated for January 13

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Thursday that it has licensed Ryohichi Saitaniya's Girls und Panzer manga and Sakura Tsukuba's Sora no Oto manga. Both have a tentative release date of January 13.

The Girls und Panzer manga adapts the television anime series of the same name. In the story, Miho Nishizumi has just enrolled into Ōarai Girls' Academy, intent on forgetting her past in tankery, a feminine sport involving combat using 20th century tanks. But when the student council finds out that she hails from a family known to be experts in the sport, they push Miho and her friends to represent their school in the inter-school tournaments.

Saitaniya launched the manga in Kadokawa's Comic Flapper magazine in June 2012, ahead of the anime. He concluded the manga in March 2014. Kadokawa published four compiled book volumes for the manga. The 14-episode anime aired in Japan in October 2012. The anime also received an OVA side story, and a sequel film, which opened in Japan on November 21.

Elex Media is also publishing Tsuchii's Girls und Panzer: Little Army manga. Elex Media published the manga's first volume on December 9.

Sora no Oto centers on two people: Reo, who is aiming to be a musician, and Suzu, a student at a prestigious university. The two could not have been more opposite of each other, but an unforeseen mishap forces them to to start living as roommates.

Tsukuba launched the manga in Hakusensha's Ane LaLa magazine in 2013, and ended it in the same year. Hakusensha published the manga's one compiled book volume in June 2014.
