Hero TV to Air Date a Live II Anime Series on January 7

Philippine anime channel HERO TV began airing a commercial last Wednesday, announcing that it will air Date A Live II, the second season of the Date A Live anime series, on January 7. The channel has not yet announced the show's time slot.
The anime based on Koushi Tachibana's original Date A Live light novel series centers on an ordinary high school boy named Shidō Itsuka who meets a spirit girl who has been rejected by a devastated world. The girl, whom Shidō names "Tohka," happens to have wiped out much of humanity 30 years ago, and now she is back. The only way to stop her is to date her.
Date A Live II premiered in April 2014 with 10 episodes. HERO TV aired the first 13-episode season in February 2014. The franchise received an anime film sequel titled Gekijōban Date A Live: Mayuri Judgement, which opened in Japan on August 22.
