Story about a 40-year-old unmarried woman who reaches a turning point in life

This year's February issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine announced on Monday that Keiko Nishi will begin a new series titled Hatsukoi no Sekai (World of First Love) in the magazine's next issue on January 28.

The love story story follows Kaoru Komatsu, a 40-year-old unmarried woman. She's not dissatisfied with work or daily life, but something causes her to hesitate in the refrain of everyday life. The turning point is...?

Nishi had ended Otō-san, Chibi ga Inaku Narimashita in July, and her Katsu Curry no Hi manga in October. She began her Shiro ga Ite (Shiro is Here) manga in the winter issue of Shogakukan's Zōkan Flowers in November.

JManga published two volumes of Nishi's four-volume series Kyudo Boys, about the romantic relationships of a group of high school boys, digitally in English before the the site ended service.

Nishi's Otoko no Isshō (A Man's Lifetime) manga received a live-action film adaptation that opened in February.
