Love Live! App's KLab, UtaPri's Broccoli Enter Business Partnership

The game and character goods company Broccoli announced on Friday that it agreed to a business partnership with game developer KLab. The two companies began jointly developing a new smartphone game app as the first service under the partnership.
Broccoli specializes in card and video games, as well as tie-in character goods. Its numerous franchises include Uta no Prince Sama (UtaPri), Kamigami no Asobi - Ludere deorum, Aquarian Age, Z/X Zillions of enemy X, and Di Gi Charat. All of these franchises have inspired anime projects.
KLab is best known for developing the popular Love Live! School idol festival game app for smartphones. As of September, this game from the Love Live! franchise has garnered over 12 million users in Japan and over 20 million users worldwide.
