Illustrator Mayo Hamazaki draws manga about student in medical school

The February issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine revealed on Wednesday that writer Bin Kusamizu and illustrator Mayo Hamazaki are launching a manga titled Haru yo, Kuru na (Come Not, O Spring) in the magazine. The manga will have a color opening page.

The magazine teases the manga:

My life is about to bud.

A youth medical school story begins! The protagonist leads a lazy college life, but before him appears a medical student in white clothes.

Kusamizu launched the Fragile - Byōrii Kishi Keiichirō no Shoken (Fragile - The Finds of Pathologist Keiichirō Kishi) medical manga in Afternoon magazine in 2014, with illustration by Saburō Megumi. Kodansha published the manga's fourth compiled book volume in October 2015. The manga is getting a live-action drama adaptation, starring TOKIO member Tomoya Nagase. The show is premiering on January 13.
