Super Robot Wars Marks 25th Anniversary With OG: The Moon Dwellers RPG

Kadokawa's Weekly Famitsu magazine is announcing on Thursday that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the Super Robot Wars OG: The Moon Dwellers (Super Robot Taisen OG: Moon Dwellers) simulation role-playing game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game is the first one in the franchise's 25th anniversary celebration. It is also the latest entry in the franchise's OG (Original Generation) line, which focuses on original robots and characters as opposed to existing ones from anime.
This week's issue of the magazine will devote six pages to revealing the new game's protagonist and combat scenes. It will profile the mecha Gurantiido (center left in image above) and the characters Tōya Shiun (center top), Katia Gurinyaaru (center), and Merua Meruna Meia (center bottom). It will also have an interview with the development staff. A teaser promotional video will debut on January 21 at 1:00 p.m. in Japan.
Update: The game's title is The Moon Dwellers, not The Moon Duelers as previously reported.
