Elex Media Licenses Soul Eater Not! Spinoff Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced on Monday that it has licensed Atsushi Ohkubo's Soul Eater Not! spinoff manga. The company will publish the manga's first volume on Wednesday.
Soul Eater Not! centers on the newest class at Death Weapon Meister Academy. As Tsugumi Harudori enters the gates to Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakkō (also known as Shibusen), a school for training Meisters and Weapons (humans who can transform into various weapons), she encounters Meister Maka Albarn and her Weapon Soul Eater Evans. By a turn of events, Weapon Tsugumi is assigned to not one Meister, but two. Her hectic days with the gentle Meme and high-class lady Anya begin.
Ohkubo launched the manga in Square Enix's Shonen Gangan magazine in 2011 as a spinoff of his original Soul Eater manga. He ended Soul Eater Not! in November 2014. Square Enix published five compiled book volumes for the manga. The manga received a 12-episode television anime adaptation that premiered in April 2014. Elex Media also released all 24 volumes of the Soul Eater manga.
