posted on by Karen Ressler
System with 8 versions will also bundle game

Sony Computer Entertainment and From Software announced on Wednesday that the Dark Souls III game will get a limited edition PlayStation 4 console. The console features a bay cover with either Cinder Knight or Elite Knight.

Both bay cover designs will come in jet black or silver, and the system can have a capacity of either 500GB or 1TB. The 500GB systems will retail for 43,410 yen (about US$365) and 44,410 yen (about US$374) for the black and silver, respectively. The 1TB systems will retail for 48,410 yen (about US$407) and 49,410 yen (about US$416) for the black and silver, respectively.

The system will bundle with the game itself. It will also come with a Dark Souls III custom theme and sleeve, a head set, HDMI cable, USB cable, and DualShock 4 controller. Like the regular release of the game, a limited number of bundles will include a special map and original soundtrack.

Both the limited edition bundle and the game itself will ship in Japan on March 24. The game will also be available for Xbox One on March 24 and PC on April 12.

The game is slated to ship in Europe and North America on April 12.
