The AOD convention in California announced on Tuesday that it will host Japanese rapper Lotus Juice and Hatoful Boyfriend creators Hato Moa and Damurushi.

Lotus Juice is a rapper who has contributed songs to Atlus' Persona 3 and Persona 2 Innocent Sin role-playing games, as well as multiple spinoff games of the latter. He has also contributed songs to such anime as Soul Eater, Black Butler, Katanagatari, Persona 4 the Golden Animation, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. He has released two full albums: Only a Test, and Carpe Diem.

Hato Moa and Damurushi's Hatoful Boyfriend game casts players as a human female who is seeking to fall in love with a pigeon at a school for gifted birds. The game features portraits of every bird that suggest what they would look like in human form. The game began as an April Fool's joke that inspired a free downloadable version in July 2011. The pair wrote and developed the Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star sequel, which arrived in North America last December. The pair are currently working on the Black Holmes and Queen's Lingerie Show visual novels.

Other guests of honor announced for the convention include voice actor Adam Harrington, Spice & Wolf light novel author Isuna Hasekura, writer Ken Pontac, artist Liz Climo, voice actress Mela Lee, and voice actress Yuu Asakawa (Azumanga Daioh's Sakaki, Fate/stay night's Rider).

The convention will take place at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara on February 13 and 14.
