Kamen Rider Battride Genesis Game's Rider, Gameplay Videos Streamed

More Heisei-era characters previewed for February 25 game

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming two new promotional videos on Thursday for the Kamen Rider Battride War Genesis crossover game. The fourth Kamen Rider video introduces more Heisei-era characters who starred in various Kamen Rider TV series. The gameplay video previews the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game.

The video previews the following Kamen Riders in action:

  • Kamen Rider Wizard
  • Kamen Rider Beast
  • Kamen Rider Gaim
  • Kamen Rider Baron
  • Kamen Rider Zangetsu Shin
  • Kamen Rider Drive
  • Kamen Rider Mach
  • Kamen Rider Ghost

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming the third rider introduction video on February 10:

The video previews the following Kamen Riders in action:

  • Kamen Rider W
  • Kamen Rider FangJoker
  • Kamen Rider Accel
  • Kamen Rider Eternal
  • Kamen Rider Joker
  • Kamen Rider OOO
  • Kamen Rider Birth

The game is slated for release on February 25 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita. The package and download versions for the PS4 and PS3 retail for 7,200 yen (about US$60), and the package and download versions for the PS Vita retail for 6,100 yen (US$51). The "Memorial TV Sound Edition" limited edition version for PS4 and PS3 retails for 10,200 yen (US$86). Tourbillon performs the game's theme song "Colorless Images."

The game celebrates the Kamen Rider franchise's 45th anniversary. In the game's plot, the Riders are disappearing one by one, and must rely on a new hope. The game is a "creation story" that will "take back the lost history of Kamen Rider."

Kamen Rider Battride War II for PlayStation 3 and Wii U shipped in June 2014. The game series features characters from years of Kamen Rider television shows and movies.
