The April issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Cune magazine announced the main cast and staff for the television anime of emily's Pan de Peace! (Peace Through Bread!) manga on Saturday. An official website for the series also launched on Saturday with the cast and staff announcements. The anime will premiere on Animax on April 4.
The announced cast members are:
- Ibuki Kido as Minami Tani (seen bottom right in above image)
- Erii Yamazaki as Yū Aizawa (top right)
- Moe Toyota as Fuyumi Fukagawa (bottom left)
- Nichika Omori as Noa Sakura (top left)
Hatsuki Tsuji (Cardfight!! Vanguard, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX) is directing the series at Asahi Production (Million Doll, Himegoto). Momoko Murakami (Nurse Witch Komugi R) is in charge of series composition, and Shizue Kaneko (If Her Flag Breaks, Doraemon: Shin Nobita to Tetsujin Heidan - Habatake Tenshi-tachi) is designing the characters.
The "cute and soft bread four-panel manga" centers around Minami, an airheaded girl who is starting high school and who loves eating bread for breakfast. Baked goods bring happiness everyday to her and her classmates — the reliable Yū, the pastry-baking Fuyumi, and the independent Noa.
The manga has been running on Kadokawa's online manga service ComicWalker since 2014, and then began in the new Monthly Comic Cune magazine that Kadokawa's Media Factory editors are launched in August.
