Ongoing Kickstarter campaign looks to adapt Lone Wolf and Cub into motion comic

Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub, Samurai Executioner, Crying Freeman) revealed in an "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit on Thursday that he is "working hard on the production of a new manga."

Koike also said the new manga will be adapted into a motion comic. SoraSeed, Inc. launched a Kickstarter campaign on February 25 to adapt Koike and Goseki Kojima's 1970-1976 manga Lone Wolf and Cub into a motion comic in English. The project has until March 25 to reach its goal of US$300,000. As of press time, the campaign has earned US$2,166.

Dark Horse Comics has published Koike's Lone Wolf and Cub, Samurai Executioner, and other titles, and Viz and Dark Horse Comics both published Crying Freeman.
