Screening to take place in GSC Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur

Film distributor Odex announced on Monday that it will hold a live screening in Malaysia for the "μ's Final Love Live!" concerts that will take place at the Tokyo Dome. Odex will hold the screening in GSC Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur on March 31 and April 1 at 3:00 p.m. Advance booking of tickets is available from Monday onward.

Live screenings of the concerts will also be held in South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia.

Although the voice actress' contracts will expire at the end of March, and the March 31-April 1 concerts are billed as "μ's Final Love Live!," μ's group member Emi Nitta stated that the concerts will only be the final concerts with just μ's as a whole and by themselves (without other musical acts), and does not characterize this as the group's "breakup." Group member Sora Tokui added that the "μ's Final Love Live!" concerts are planned as a culmination of their work.

The μ's idol group was the eighth best-selling musical act in Japan in 2015. The group's "final single," titled "Moment Ring,"shipped on March 2, selling 96,479 copies in its first week, and ranking #2 in the Oricon singles chart for the week of February 29-March 6. The single, has the highest first-week sales in the franchise's history. It outsold the previous record holder, "Boku-tachi wa Hitotsu no Hikari"/"Future Style," which shipped 96,150 copies last July with songs from the Love Live! The School Idol Movie anime film.

The group last performed in the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, the New Year's Eve singing contest that is Japan's most viewed music television program, although Eli Ayase voice actress Yoshino Nanjō did not perform in the event.
