JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 Anime Previewed in 3 Videos

Jōsuke, Jōtarō, Kōichi featured in 2nd round of promo videos

The official website of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable began streaming three new promotional videos for the anime on Wednesday. The same videos ran on outdoor big screens in Tokyo, Osaka, and Sendai on Monday.

Kōichi: April 1999. On the day I entered high school, I met two bizarre men.
There's something in this town... I know there's something unknown here, I can feel it! It's here, in Moriōchō...
Text: M prefecture S town Moriōchō.
Jōsuke: I'm Jōsuke Higashikata.

Jōtarō: There's something lurking in this town. Some crazy danger is approaching...
Reporter: The police are carefully continuing on with the investigation into the incident in Moriōchō.
Jōtarō: He's most likely a Stand-user...
Jōsuke: I... I'll protect this town and my mom... No matter what happens...!
Jōsuke: I'm not gonna forgive anyone who makes fun of my hair, no matter who it is!
Jōsuke: I'm gonna forever with this life that Gramps protected.
Jōtarō: My name's Jōtarō Kujō. I guess by blood relation, I'd be your nephew.
Jōtarō: How do you intend to get through this situation?
Jōsuke: I wouldn't say I'm going to "get through" this... I'm going to smash my way through instead!
Jōtarō: I think I might know the meaning behind this picture.
Kōichi: This town is in peril...

Okuyasu: Bring it on, dammit!
Jōsuke: What'd you say!?
Jōtarō: Stop, Jōsuke!
Jōsuke: This is just great.

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on April 1 at 24:30 (effectively April 2 at 12:30 a.m.), as well as on MBS, TBC, BS11, and Animax. Viz and Crunchyroll will stream the anime starting in April.

The website previously streamed the first promotional video introducing the show's setting and story.

The cast and the character visuals for their respective characters include:

Yūki Ono as Jōsuke Higashikata (his Stand, Crazy Diamond, is also shown)

Yūki Kaji as Kōichi Hirose

Wataru Takagi as Okuyasu Nijimura

Takahiro Sakurai as Rohan Kishibe

Daisuke Ono as Jōtarō Kūjō

Takagi is reprising his role from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven video game. In the game, Hiroshi Kamiya voices Rohan Kishibe, Wataru Hatano voices Jōsuke Higashikata, and Romi Park voices Kōichi Hirose.

The first JoJo's Bizarre Adventure television anime aired from October to April 2012, and covered the first two parts of Hirohiko Araki's original manga. The manga's Part 3 inspired another television anime project from April to September 2014, and from January to June 2015. Part 4 of the manga is set 11 years after Part 3 in S City in M Prefecture of Japan, and the story follows the misadventures of Jōsuke Higashikata and his companions.

THE DU will perform the anime's opening theme song, titled "Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town." The song's CD single will ship on April 27.
