Asobimo, Inc. announced on Friday that its Avabel Online 3D smartphone role-playing game is getting a television anime adaptation. Kenichi Imaizumi (Brynhildr in the Darkness, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, Komori-san Can't Decline) is directing the anime at Felix Film, and Bingo Morihashi (Devil May Cry anime) and Naoki Tozuka (Iron Man, Angel Heart) are writing the scripts.

A special television program titled "Avabel Online Live Broadcast Special" will air on Tokyo MX on April 24. M.A.O and Toda will appear on the program.

Asobimo, Inc. released the game in Japan for iOS and Android in 2012, and it is free to play. The company has also released the game in English. In the game, players fight battles filled with jumps and skills. At the MMO field called the Main Tower, players can play with many other users by hunting monsters and completing quests. At the MO field called the Dungeon, players can work on their own or battle in a party. Player vs Player (PvP) battles and tower battles with over 1,000 players participating are also part of the game.
