Girls & Panzer Drama CD Ranks #3 With 12,467 Copies

T.M. Revolution's album tops chart, Kazumasa Oda ranks #2

The Girls und Panzer drama CD Girls und Panzer Gekijōban Drama CD 5 - Atarashii Tomodachi ga Dekimashita! ranked #3 on the Oricon album chart for the May 9-15 week. It sold 12,467 copies. The drama CD shipped on May 11.

The drama CD contained six stories titled "St. Gloriana's Senshadō Is Elegant Above All," "Clara's Secret," "The Summer Vacation Continuation," "Nothing to Report in Chihatan Academy," "Boko Will Do It!," and "Operation I Want to Know More About Commander Arisu."

T.M. Revolution's 2020-T.M. Revolution ALL TIME BEST- album topped the ranking with 44,021 copies, while Kazumasa Oda's Ano Hi Ano Toki album ranked #2 with 30,972 copies after originally shipping on April 20.

The Girls und Panzer film will add 38 theaters to its ongoing run on Saturday, with 4DX screenings once again available. The film opened in Japan last November, and it ranked #38 in the top 39 highest grossing Japanese domestic films of 2015 (tied with Grasshopper). As of April 24, the film has sold 1,144,720 tickets for a total of 1,912,179,484 yen (about US$17.23 million). The film has been in theaters for 27 weeks.

The film will ship on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on May 27, and the release will come with a new OVA that will take place after the events of the movie, as well as an episode of the "Akiyama Yukari no Sensha Kōza" (Yukari Akiyama's Tank Lecture) shorts.
