Supernatural series from Flowers of Evil creator launched last year

Kodansha Comics announced at its panel at Anime Central on Saturday that it will release the Happiness manga by Shūzō Oshimi (Flowers of Evil). The company also announced that it will release an Attack on Titan Coloring Book, as well as an Attack on Titan: The Anime Guide book. The first volume of Happiness, and the Attack on Titan Coloring Book and Attack on Titan: The Anime Guide books (pictured in gallery below) will ship this fall.

Kodansha Comics describes Happiness as follows:

A supernatural story of sexual awakening, growing up, and suburban vampirism. A boy out walking at night is attacked by a girl in an alley. She sucks his blood and gives him a choice: life or death. He chooses life, but finds himself nearly overwhelmed by a new thirst and a fascination with the necks of his classmates…

Oshimi launched Happiness in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in February 2015, and Kodansha published the manga's third compiled volume on May 9.

Vertical published Oshimi's Flowers of Evil manga in North America, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime adaptation as it aired in Japan in 2013. Sentai Filmworks released the anime on home video.

Oshimi's ongoing Inside Mari manga launched in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine in 2012. Crunchyroll is releasing new chapters digitally in English as Futabasha publishes them in Japan.

Kodansha just shipped the Attack on Titan Coloring Book in Japan last month. The book contains 60 pages recreating 12 "missions" from the first 18 manga volumes, as well as trivia quizzes. The Attack on Titan Animation Side Hoe (Howl) book shipped in Japan in February 2014 as a 176-page official guidebook to the television anime.
