Honobono Log TV Anime Casts Asami Seto, Miyu Irino

Anime premieres on June 7 with 10 2-minute episodes

The staff of the television anime adaptation of Naka Fukamachi's Fukamachi Naka Gashū Honobono Log ~Taisetsu na Kimi e~ (Naka Fukamachi Art Collection: Heartwarming Log ~To Precious You) illustration book announced on Friday that Asami Seto and Miyu Irino have been cast for the anime.

The anime will premiere on the NHK-General channel in Japan on June 7 to 11, and will continue on June 14 to 18, airing a two minute episode each day at 12:08 a.m for a total of 10 episodes.

The book offers hearwarming peeks at the lives of close couples and families. Fukamachi posted illustrations under the hashtag #ほのぼのログ (#HonobonoLog) on Twitter and garnered over 520,000 followers.

Kumi Matsui is directing the anime at the studio Fanworks. Rareko is drawing the storyboards and Ame no Parade is composing the music.

Ichijinsha published the book in 2014, and it will publish a second book titled Honobono Log II ~Taisetsu na Kimi to~ (Heartwarming Log ~With Precious You~) in mid-July.
