The 10th and final episode in the television anime of Miyuki Abe's boys-love manga Super Lovers announced on Wednesday that the anime will get a second season starting in January 2017.

The anime premiered on April 6 and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Fooled into coming overseas by news of his mother's imminent death, high school student Kaido Haru encounters a boy who insists that he's his brother. Haru does his best to raise feral and obstinate Ren, but there seems to be a secret behind Ren's birth. On top of that, just when Ren begins to warm up to Haru, tragedy strikes. Five years later, Haru reunites with Ren, all grown up in Tokyo, but...

Shinji Ishihira (Fairy Tail, Tenbatsu Angel Rabbie, Log Horizon) helmed the TV anime at Studio Deen. Yoshiko Nakamura (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Hakuōki, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun) supervised the series scripts. Miki Takihara (Squid Girl, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Yurikuma Arashi) designed the characters, and Nippon Columbia produced the music.
