Tsukiuta TV Anime's Ad Reveals Theme Song, July 6 Premiere

The official website of Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION, the television anime adaptation of a music and original drama CD series about anthropomorphized months, began streaming a 15-second commercial for the anime on Friday. The video features the first look at the characters in motion, and also previews the anime's theme song "GRAVITIC-LOVE" by the in-story unit Six Gravity (composed of KENN, Kōsuke Toriumi, Tomoaki Maeno, Toshiki Masuda, Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Yūki Kaji), and reveals the anime's July 6 premiere on Tokyo MX, BS Sky Perfect, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and TV Aichi. The series will also stream on d Anime Store and Animate Channel.
The anime's official Twitter account also posted a new visual for the anime.
A special program will air on Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and TV Aichi on June 29 before the anime airs, and it will feature Shōta Aoi and Wataru Hatano introducing the series.
The anime's theme song single will ship on August 26, and will contain two theme songs, one of which is the "GRAVITIC-LOVE" song by Six Gravity, and another as-yet untitled song from Procellarum, as well as the instrumental versions of both songs. A limited edition of the single will bundle a stuffed toy of the franchise's mascot, Shirota.
Tsukiuta has two versions — a male version and a female version. The male version centers around the Tokyo idol unit Six Gravity (composed of characters representing December to May) and the sibling rival unit Procellarum (composed of idols born in Western Japan and representing June to November).

Itsurō Kawasaki (Arc the Lad, Rental Magica, Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings) is directing the series at Studio Pierrot, with scripts by Sayaka Harada (Library War, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, STARMYU). Yukiko Ban (.hack//Intermezzo, .hack//SIGN, Dusk maiden of Amnesia) is adapting Jiku's original character designs for animation. Fujiwara (MOVIC) is credited as the original creator.
