Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan Anime Commercial Introduces Comedic Premise

The official website for the Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan anime began streaming a commercial on Monday. In the video, the protagonist Kusuo Saiki introduces himself and his many psychic powers. He says he thought these powers would let him live the dream, but he was wrong: he wants to be left alone but weird people keep gathering around him.
The anime will premiere as a "double broadcast," airing in the mornings Mondays-Fridays within the Oha-Suta ("Good Morning Star") program on TV Tokyo, and at night on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka. The anime's morning broadcast will premiere on July 4 at 7:05 a.m., and the late-night broadcast will premiere on July 10 at 25:35 (effectively July 11 at 1:35 a.m.).

The manga centers on a high school boy named Kusuo Saiki. He possesses supernatural powers that cause unfortunate events in his everyday life.
Hiroaki Sakurai (Di Gi Charat, Maid Sama!) is directing the anime at EGG FIRM and J.C. Staff, and Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Kyōkai no Rinne) is in charge of series composition. Masayuki Onji (Kimi to Boku., Aoi Hana) is in charge of character design. The new special musical unit Saikic Lover will perform background music for the anime. The group consists of vocalist Yoffy, guitarist IMAJO, and arranger Kenichirō Ōishi. Natsuki Hanae will perform the late-night broadcast's opening theme song, and Dempagumi.inc will perform the late-night broadcast's ending theme song.
