Rie Takahashi Suffers Knee Injury, Limits Activity for Next 2 Months to Heal

Voice actress Rie Takahashi announced on the official website of the Earphones musical unit on Monday that she is suffering from inflamed ligaments in her left knee and will only have limited activity for one or two months to allow it to heal. She is scheduled to appear in Earphones' one-year anniversary event in Tokyo on Saturday, but will limit her performance. Takahashi thanked her fans for their support, and assured them that she is all right as she still has her voice and can use her hands.
Takahashi has voiced characters in such anime as Captain Earth (Ayana Aizawa), Shirobako (Akane Uchida), Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace (Kobayashi), Seiyu's Life! (Futaba Ichinose and Korori-chan), School-Live! (Miki Naoki), KonoSuba (Megumin), Maho Girls Precure! (Mirai Asahina/Cure Miracle), and Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- (Emilia). She has also performed theme songs for the KonoSuba and Re:Zero anime. She also performed theme songs for the Seiyu's Life!, anime under the Earphones musical group (together with fellow voice actors Marika Kōno and Yuki Nagaku).
