Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan Adds Yoshimasa Hosoya, Maaya Uchida, Tomoaki Maeno, Showtaro Morikubo

This year's 29th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed four new cast members on Monday for the television anime adaptation of Shūichi Asō's Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan manga. The new cast members include:
- Yoshimasa Hosoya (Chihayafuru's Arata, Haikyu!!'s Asahi Azumane) as Aren Kuboyasu
- Maaya Uchida (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma's Yūki, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress' Ayame) as Chisato Mera
- Tomoaki Maeno (Yowamushi Pedal's Juichi Fukutomi, Seraph of the End's Kureto Hiragi) as Makoto Teruhashi (Tōru Mugami)
- Showtaro Morikubo (Asura Cryin's Reishirou Saeki, Yowamushi Pedal's Yūsuke Makishima) as Uryoku Chōno
The anime will premiere as a "double broadcast," airing in the mornings Mondays-Fridays within the Oha-Suta ("Good Morning Star") program on TV Tokyo, and at night on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka. The morning broadcast will air five episodes each week, and the late-night broadcast will collect those five episodes and air them together. The anime's morning broadcast will premiere on July 4 at 7:05 a.m., and the late-night broadcast will premiere on July 10 at 25:35 (effectively July 11 at 1:35 a.m.).

The manga centers on a high school boy named Kusuo Saiki. He possesses supernatural powers that cause unfortunate events in his everyday life.
Hiroaki Sakurai (Di Gi Charat, Maid Sama!) is directing the anime at EGG FIRM and J.C. Staff, and Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Kyōkai no Rinne) is in charge of series composition. Masayuki Onji (Kimi to Boku., Aoi Hana) is in charge of character design. The new special musical unit Saikic Lover will perform background music for the anime. The group consists of vocalist Yoffy, guitarist IMAJO, and arranger Kenichirō Ōishi. Natsuki Hanae will perform the late-night broadcast's opening theme song, and Dempagumi.inc will perform the late-night broadcast's ending theme song.
