The 31st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Yūsei Matsui's Assassination Classroom manga and Kizuku Watanabe and Jō Aoto's Koro-sensei Q! (Quest) spinoff manga (pictured at right) are both getting theatrical anime films that will debut in a limited screening event starting on November 19. The two films will screen together.

The Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: 365-Nichi no Jikan (Assassination Classroom The Movie: 365 Days) film is a compilation film that will also include an added original story. The Koro-sensei Q! (Koro Teacher Quest!) film will mark the first time the story of Koro-sensei as the demon king will be turned into an anime.

Studio Lerche, the television anime's staff, and the television anime's cast will all return to work on both films.

Weekly Shonen Jump's previous issue had hinted at an announcement for the Koro-sensei Q! manga in the upcoming issue.

Watanabe and Aoto began the spinoff series in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine in October 2015. In the manga, Koro-sensei is a demon king in a world of swords and sorcery. The manga's first compiled book volume will ship on Monday.

The first 22-episode season of the Assassination Classroom anime premiered in Japan in January 2015, and the second season premiered in January 2016 and will end next week. Seven pages from the spinoff manga accompanied the final chapter of the main manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March.

The original manga also inspired two live-action films, the second of which premiered in Japan on March 25.
