M&C! Licenses Sunrise, Boyfriend Recipe, Love Cocktail, Clematica Shoe Store Manga

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on July 15 that it has licensed Nami Fujio's Sunrise, Konomi Wagata's Boyfriend Recipe (Kareshi Recipe), Iori Shigano's Love Cocktail (Renai Cocktail), and Mayu Sakai's Clematica Shoe Store (Clematica Kutsuten) manga. All four manga are slated for release on August 10.

Sunrise collects three one-shot manga that Fujio published in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine in 2015. M&C! describes the book's title story:

Moka repeated a grade due to her hospitalization. At the start of the new school year, she meets the doddering student council president Denjuro, as well as the handsome vice president Akizumi. The feelings that passed between the three of them was the beginning of friendship and love.

Apart from the title story, the book also contains the one-shot manga "Shiny Night" and "Shiny Night Smile." Shogakukan published the book in June 2015.

Wagata's Boyfriend Recipe centers on Morimiya, a plain girl in her second year of junior high. The only thing she enjoys is drawing and writing her personal manga in her notebook. The manga is filled with everything that explodes from her imagination. But when her notebook accidentally falls into the hands of classmate and genius boy Hatano, she has to figure out how to make him not reveal her big secret.

Wagata launched the manga in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine in 2015, and ended it the same year. Shogakukan published the manga's one compiled book volume last October.

Shigano's Love Cocktail centers on high school girl Kanami and her cousin Hayato, whom she loves. Hayato has been working as the owner and bartender of his own cafe bar for the past nine years. Kanami sees him as a wonderful prince, who can prepare delicious food and beautiful drinks in the blink of an eye. Wanting to stay close by him, Kanami asks for a part-time job at the cafe. At first Hayato treats her like a child. But when they're all alone, maybe a relationship is forming between them after all.

Shigano launched the manga in Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine in 2014, and ended it in the same year. Shogakukan published the manga's one compiled book volume in November 2014.

M&C! is also releasing Shigano's The Bride and Her Mean Darling (Hanayome to Ijiwaru Darling) manga, and it shipped the first volume on June 22.

Sakai's Clematica Shoe Store manga centers on the titular shoe store, which is located in a certain town, and is rumored to have the ability to grant someone's wish, whatever it might be. Some people wish for another person's happiness, while others carve an oath of cruel revenge on their hearts for those who wronged them. The shoe store has a shoe for every kind of person. Whether the shoes will lead you to a bright future or dark despair is up to the cobbler.

Sakai launched the manga in Shueisha's Ribon Fantasy Zōkan-gō magazine in 2009, and Sakai published the manga irregularly in both Ribon Fantasy Zōkan-gō and the now-defunct Jump SQ. magazine until 2011. Shueisha published the manga's one compiled book volume in June 2011.

M&C! is also releasing Sakai's Sugar Soldier manga, and it shipped the first volume on April 27. Sugar Soldier received a three-episode short television anime adaptation in January 2014, which aired as a segment in TV Tokyo's Oha-sta (Good Morning Star) kids variety program.
