Bye Bye Liberty manga about boy, girl who don't get along debuts on September 13

The September issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine revealed on Friday that Ayuko Hatta will launch a new manga series titled Bye Bye Liberty in the magazine's next issue, which Shueisha will publish on September 13. The magazine teases the main characters, a boy and girl who don't get along.

Hatta launched her Wolf Girl & Black Prince manga (pictured at right) in Bessatsu Margaret in 2011, and ended it on May 13. Shueisha published the manga's 16th and final compiled book volume on May 25. As of May, the manga has 5.4 million copies in print.

The manga inspired a television anime in 2014, as well as a live-action film, which opened in Japan on May 28. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the series for North America.
