The official website of Southeast Asian anime channel Animax Asia revealed on Monday that its Animax Carnival Philippines event will host ELISA, yanaginagi, Ami Wajima, and May'n as musical guests.

ELISA debuted in 2007 with "euphoric field," which was used as the opening theme song for the ef: a tale of memories anime series. She has since gone on to perform opening themes for Hayate the Combat Butler and The World God Only Knows, as well as ending themes for Nabari no Ou, Valvrave the Liberator, A Certain Scientific Railgun, and The irregular at magic high school. Most recently, she performed the theme song for the Expelled from Paradise anime film, and features as the ending theme song singer for the 91 Days television anime.

yanaginagi began by posting song covers online in 2005, and released self-produced music under the name CorLeonis in 2006, releasing four albums this way. She began posting cover songs on Nico Nico Video in 2007. Yanagi collaborated with supercell songwriter Ryo on the song "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari," which was used as the ending theme to the Bakemonogatari anime. She also served as supercell's vocalist from 2009 to 2011. Yanagi released her solo debut single "Vidro Moyō" in 2012. She has since released 15 singles, seven albums, and collaborates often with other singers, artists, and composers, such as Jun Maeda and Shinji Orito. She has performed theme songs for such anime as A Lull in the Sea, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Jormungand, and Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya. Most recently she performed the ending theme song to the new Berserk anime. She made her voice acting debut in Idea Factory and Otomate's Norn9 2013 game, and reprised her role from the game in the recent anime adaptation of the game, which premiered in January.

17-year-old Ami Wajima hails from the Hokkaido town of Kutchan. The singer made her professional debut with "Gensō Drive," the opening theme for the spring 2016 anime The Lost Village (Mayoiga). She performed the new ending theme song for P.A. Works' Kuromukuro anime. The single for the new ending song shipped on August 10, and a limited first edition of the single includes a DVD with the song's music video. Wajima won the top prize in the HoriPro x Pony Canyon Next Generation Anison Singer Audition this year.

May'n performed songs as the Macross Frontier anime's "Galactic Fairy" idol Sheryl Nome. Beyond her performances for Macross Frontier, May'n has performed theme songs for anime series including Accel World, Phi-Brain - Puzzle of God, Aria the Scarlet Ammo, Inari Kon Kon, and M3 - Sono Kuroki Hagane. She performed the opening theme song for the television anime series Aquarion Logos with composer Yoko Kanno, and most recently performed the opening theme song for the Taboo Tattoo anime.

May'n was previously scheduled to appear at an Animax Carnival event in the Philippines in 2013, but the event was cancelled due to heavy rainfall.

Animax Carnival Philippines will take place on October 15 and 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila.

Animax Asia previously held an Animax Carnival event in the Philippines in May 2015 at the SMX Convention Center. The last Animax Carnival held in the Philippines before that was in 2012, and the first iteration of the event in the Philippines launched in 2004. An event was scheduled for 2013, but was cancelled.

Animax last held its Animax Carnival event in Malaysia on March 26-27.
