Short debuted after Space Patrol Luluco marathon stream on Monday

The Nico Nico marathon stream of the Space Patrol Luluco anime ended on Monday with the debut of a new short animation. The short shows Trigger's mascots: Trigger, Muzzle, and Spring. The official Trigger Twitter account confirmed that TeddyLoid (the ending theme song composer of Space Patrol Luluco) composed the music in the short.

Both the marathon stream and the short animation celebrate the fifth anniversary of Trigger's founding. Hiroyuki Imaishi and Masahiko Otsuka founded the studio on August 22, 2011.

The Space Patrol Luluco "intergalactic first love story" anime takes place in Ogikubo, which is the name of the specially designated area in space in the Milky Way where Earthlings and aliens can live together. Luluco is a female middle school student who lives with her father, and no matter where she is, Luluco is a common, "super normal" girl. As she is living her normal life, one day the mysterious transfer student ΑΩ Nova abruptly appears before her. That meeting will change Luluco's fate.

The Space Patrol Luluco anime premiered on April 1, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
