Takaya Hashi, Haruka Yoshimura cast in anime based on Shiori Amase manga

The official website of the television anime of Shiori Amase's All Out!! rugby manga revealed the additional cast, a new visual, and the anime's October 6 premiere on Thursday.

The visual contains the text "Give it your all until the end!"

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on October 6, and will also begin airing on MBS on October 7, and on BS11 on October 8.

The additional cast includes:

Takaya Hashi as Shingo Komori, the coach of the Kanagawa High School rugby team. He once represented Japan. After retiring, he settled into becoming a coach and started a blog, which caught the attention of Gion. His training is strict but filled with a love for his charges, and he guides the young Kanagawa High School team.

Haruka Yoshimura as Umeno Hoakari, a second-year student and manager of the Kanagawa High School rugby team. She has a bright personality, and tackles her duties with frankness as the sole woman with the team. She is prone to teaching the newbie Gion the rules of the game while giving him a lecture.

The main cast includes:

Shōya Chiba as Kenji Gion, a first-year rugby club member at Kanagawa High School. He encountered rugby on the day of the school's entrance ceremony. He's short, but has a huge competitive spirit. He loves to tackle.

Yūto Adachi as Sumiaki Iwashimizu, a first-year rugby club member at Kanagawa High School. His position is lock. He has a lot of experience with rugby and is very tall, but he is normally hesitant.

Yoshimasa Hosoya as Takuya Sekizan, a third-year rugby club member at Kanagawa High School. His position is number eight. He is the team captain who has an overwhelming intensity. He also has strict manners.

Ryota Ohsaka as Mutsumi Hachiōji, a third-year rugby club member at Kanagawa High School. His position is hooker. He is the vice-captain who is always smiling and taking care of others.

Kensho Ono as Etsugo Ōharano, a first-year student who plays the stand-off position. He has been playing since elementary school, so he is good if cocky. He is always defiant. His little brother has been playing as long as he has. Ono noted that he himself joined a rugby club when he was little.

Daichi Kanbara as Yūsaku Suwa, a second-year student who plays the wing position. He looks like an adult at first glance, but he has a scathing tongue. He is a hard worker who continuously trains, but he seemingly harbors jealousy for Ōharano who handles anything with great skill. Kanbara noted that although he himself did not play, he went to support his school's team during his college days.

The supporting cast also includes:

Takuma Nagatsuka as Isao Kifune, a second-year who plays fullback. He is a hard worker viewed as a stable player. He is timid and reserved, so he receives Iwashimizu's overt friendliness one-sidedly.

Katsunori Okai as Shōta Kibi, a second-year who plays fullback. He looks mischievous, but he is actually a serious person who takes care of others.

Keisuke Koumoto as Kōsuke Marōdo, a second-year who plays wing. He is an easy-going person who is swept into his surroundings relatively easily. He often hangs out with Takebe.

Wataru Takahashi as Tomomichi Takebe, a second-year who plays center. He is a gentle but straightforward person. He is close with Marōdo. He always has bed head.

Takashi Uezumiya as Yūtaka Shinshi, a third-year who plays prop. He is a forgetful person who tends to worry. He is in the same class with Sekizan and sits in the back, so he often gets picked on.

Tomohito Takatsuka as Taichi Ōhie, a third-year who plays prop. He is calm and easy-going, but his intellect allows him to handle his juniors without causing discord. He is actually very bright.

Shun'ichi Maki as Eiichi Hirota, a third-year who plays prop. His massive size makes him the giant of the team, and he is always eating something. He looks soft, but his personality can be harsh.

Fukushi Ochiai as Takeo Atsuta, a second-year who plays prop. His body may be big, but he is meek. He sometimes used honorific speech when he was a first-year, too. He greatly respects Hirota.

Kazuki Nakao as Shinnosuke Hyōsu, a third-year who plays flanker. He is close friends with Kamō, and he often plays tricks. He gets intense reactions. He is the type who can't refuse when something is asked of him, and he is good at taking care of his juniors.

Masayuki Shouji as Raita Kamō, a third-year who plays scrum-half. He loves pranks and always messes with Kashima, who went to the same middle school. He is good friends with Gion, a fellow short person.

Hiromichi Tezuka as Kōichirō Kashima, a third-year who plays lock. He has been picked on by Kamō for six years, and he won't try to stop it. He is usually silent, but he has a burning heart.

Yūsuke Ōta as Susumu Kitamachi, a first-year who is inexperienced at rugby and has no position yet. He loves to face new challenges. He admires Sekizan and does his best to build his body.

Yūki Hashimoto as Sueyoshi Mikami, a first-year who is inexperienced at rugby and has no position yet. The forward players took him to join the team. He is in the same class with Gion, and they often fight.

Kōdai Sakai as Michio Sumiyoshi, a second-year rugby member at Kanagawa High School. His position is scrum-half. He continues playing rugby because it's fun for one reason or another. He lacks seriousness, but because he's a skillful player, he's the type that can do anything.

Daiki Kobayashi as Yoshiki Hirano, a first-year rugby member of Kanagawa High School. He has no position yet because he's inexperienced in rugby. He is full of curiosity, so he continues to try hard. He thought his classmate Kitamichi was having a lot of fun, so he decided to join the rugby team.

Daiki Hamano as Hirokuni Kasuga, a third-year rugby member of Kanagawa High School. His position is flanker. He has a tough personality and is fundamentally taciturn. Despite his scary face, he can be unexpectedly helpful, like an older brother. He likes to tackle, so he acknowledges Gion's competitiveness and fellow love of tackling.

The manga's story centers around Kenji Gion, a short first-year high school student. On his first day at Kanagawa Prefectural High School, he meets the tall Sumiaki Iwashimizu during a game of rugby. Kenji Gion strikes a friendship with Sumiaki, and soon joins the rugby club. The manga portrays the struggles of the mismatched pair.

Amase (Yuki Shimaki) launched the manga in Morning Two in 2012. Kodansha published the manga's eighth compiled book volume in February with a drama CD starring the anime's cast. The ninth compiled book shipped in June.

Kenichi Shimizu (Parasyte -the maxim-) is directing the anime at TMS Entertainment and Madhouse. Masahiro Yokotani (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, SHIMONETA, Beelzebub) is in charge of series composition, and will pen the scripts alongside Shingo Irie (Kuroko's Basketball, Log Horizon). Masanori Shino (Gungrave, Black Lagoon, Digimon Adventure tri.) is designing the characters for animation. Telecom Animation Film is credited for production cooperation.
