The Cosplay Mania convention announced on Wednesday that it will host singer and voice actress Riho Iida as a musical guest for the convention as part of its "I Love Anisong" collaboration with SOZO.

Iida debuted as a child actor, appearing on the NHK Educational TV program Tensai Terebi Kun MAX in 2002 when she was 11 years old. Since then, she has starred in many live-action films and television shows. She is best known as the voice of the character Rin Hoshizora from the Love Live! School idol project anime franchise, and is a member of the anime's µ's idol group, having performed alongside members of the nine-girl group in many of their songs. Her solo musical career has seen her release four singles since her first in 2007, and four albums since 2008. Her latest album, rippi-holic, shipped on August 17. She has also performed the ending theme song of the Venus Project: Climax anime, and voiced characters in Venus Project: Climax and Re-Kan!.

Anime Festival Asia applies the "I Love Anisong" brand to its anime song concerts that take place at its conventions. Artists and singers with songs featured in anime series or films usually headline the events, and the concerts typically take place at every night of the duration of the convention.

Cosplay Mania will take place on October 1-2 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay, Metro Manila. The convention's staff previously announced Back-On, Starmarie, and Shiena Nishizawa as musical guests.
