Voice Actress Risa Taneda Goes on Hiatus for Medical Treatment

The official website of voice actor agency Office Osawa announced on Thursday that voice actress Risa Taneda will go on hiatus from voice acting to focus on medical treatment for an unspecified illness. The announcement noted that Taneda had been receiving treatment for some time before the announcement, but since she showed no signs of recovery, she decided to focus solely on treatment and recovery.
Taneda made her major voice acting debut voicing character Saki Watanabe in From the New World. She has since voiced roles in such anime as Say, "I Love You". (Asami Oikawa), Oreshura (Kaoru Asoi), Yuyushiki (Yukari Hinata), High School DxD New (Xenovia), Beyond the Boundary (Mirai Kuriyama), Strike the Blood (Yukina Himeragi), Brynhildr in the Darkness (Neko Kuroha), Is the order a rabbit? (Rize Tedeza), Your Lie in April (Kaori Miyazono), Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma (Erina Nakiri), Garakowa -Restore the World- (Dual), AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue (Reiko Satōin), and Alderamin on the Sky (Yatorishino Igsem). She is slated to voice the character Kisaki Kondō in WWW.WORKING!!, and Aya Komichi in Kin-iro Mosaic: Pretty Days, as well as reprise her role as Yukina Himeragi in the Strike the Blood II OVAs.
