Rival teams battle on & off field at training camp next spring

Online retailers are listing Tsuyoshi Yasuda's 21st and 22nd DAYS manga volumes in limited-edition bundles with original anime DVDs on March 17 and May 17, respectively, of next year.

In the anime bundled with the 21st manga volume, the Seiseki team members encounter their Sakuragi High School rivals at a summer training camp, and a random incident leads to a beach soccer all-star game between the two teams.

The anime bundled with the 22nd manga volume depicts the traditional games played at the Kagoshima training camp, where the best from around the country have assembled.

Ponycan USA, which will release the ongoing television anime in North America, describes the overall story:

The two boys chance meeting on a stormy night. With no skills or outstanding features, one boy hides a passionate heart, Tsukushi Tsukamoto. The other is a lonely soccer genius, Jin Kazama. The winds of change begin to blow in the world of high school soccer as these two boys with nothing in common come together. The curtain on this hot-blooded, touching story is rising… Tsukushi joins the Seiseki Soccer Club with Kazama ,and the wheels of fate start to turn. The prodigy, Jin Kazama. Star high school player and captain, Hisahito Mizuki. The calm and collected playmaker, Atsushi Kimishita. The towering forward, Kiichi Oshiba. Amongst all these talented players with high expectations of them, Tsukushi forges ahead. He really just wants to spend time with his teammates, but feels like he weighs them down during the rigorous practices. To his teammates though, he becomes an irreplaceable existence before long, flaws and all. The unshakable bond they share leads to something miraculous…
