Hagane Orchestra Smartphone, TV Anime Project Launches in October

Video game content management company Hanbit Ubiquitous Entertainment announced on Thursday that its upcoming smartphone game Hagane Orchestra (Steel Orchestra) is also getting a television anime series that will premiere on Tokyo MX1 on October 9 at 25:00 (effectively October 10 at 1:00 a.m.). The anime will have 12 episodes and each episode will be five minutes long. The show's official website is streaming a promotional video for the anime.

- Azusa Satou as Marsha
- Eriko Matsui as Nanaka
- Kaoru Mizuhara as Kako
- Junya Enoki as Kajika
- Gōsuke Hatakeyama as Yanagi
- Katsuhiro Tokuishi as Hanzō
- Mitsuki Nakae as Tsubaki
Masahiko Ohta (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Mitsudomoe, Rozen Maiden) is directing the anime series at Fanworks (Ganbare! Lulu Lolo - Tiny Twin Bears, Honobono Log). Takashi Aoshima (If Her Flag Breaks, Himouto! Umaruchan) is both writing and overseeing the scrips, Takashi Konno (animator for Steel Angel Kurumi 2, s-CRY-ed) designed the characters, and Takaharu Ōkuma (Magician's Academy, Mitsudomoe) is adapting those character designs for animation and is serving as chief animation director. Hiroshi Katō (Evangelion TV series and remake films) is the art director, and Yasuhiro Misawa (Minami-ke franchise, Kokoro Connect) is composing the music.
The official site for the anime and game began streaming a scenario introduction video for the game in September 2015.
Hanbit Ubiquitous Entertainment plans to release the smartphone game for iOS and Android devices around the same time the anime starts airing. The game is a real-time strategy battle role-playing game that takes place in a ruined world where battles are fought in customizable steel vehicles.
