Anime Limited has announced the following:
- The Limited Collector's Edition Blu-ray set of Eden of the East (pictured right) is expected in November. It will contain art cards, stickers and a 40-page Official Log Book, newly translated and exclusive to this release. The book includes an Event Map, showing the location of various events from the series; Background Art; Team Discussions, where the staff discuss certain subjects; and an interview with director Kenji Kamiyama.
The set will also have over 90 minutes of on-disc extras, including interviews with Kamiyama and the original character designer Umino, as well as the main voice actors, the composer, and Mamoru Oshii.
- The Blu-ray version (but not the DVD) of Assassination Classroom Season 1 Part 2 has been delayed 'due to a replication error.' Its new date is TBC. The DVD version is still scheduled for September 28.
- Free! Eternal Summer has been delayed by one week, due to a delay in stock delivery, and will be released on October 3.
- Funimation's release of Gonna be the Twin-Tail! has been delayed to October 10.
- Makoto Shinkai's new film Your Name has been rated certificate '12A' by the BBFC.
