Scenario features supervision by Benny Matsuyama, character designs by Kazushi Hagiwara

The official website for Kadokawa Games' Demon Gaze II sequel game for the PlayStation Vita began streaming a trailer on Sunday for the game previewing its post-game content titled "Yagyū Zanma Roku: Call of the Grimodar" (Chronicle of the Yagyū Demon-Slaying: Call of the Grimodar). The content will be available for free this fall.

The trailer shows two new characters named Piine and the Swordswoman of Yagyū, featuring character designs Kazushi Hagiwara (Bastard!!, Endride). Benny Matsuyama is supervising the scenario for the story. The video also shows new environments, demons, and rare items that can be acquired in the scenario.

Sony also streamed a new trailer for the game during the Tokyo Game Show event. The trailer previews the game's theme song.

Kadokawa Games will release the game on September 29, with its original October 13 release date moved up two weeks.

The game will retail for 6,300 yen (about US$59).

NIS America released the first Demon Gaze fantasy dungeon role-playing game for the PS Vita in North America and in Europe in April 2014. NIS America describes the story:

The world's western frontier—with a dark shroud covering his memories of the past. The land before him contains many labyrinths that hold both treasure and danger in equal volumes. Without knowing where else to go or what else to do, Oz decides to take up arms in order to hunt down artifacts and eke out a living in this world that feels so new to him. One day, he will have to face his past, but until then, he has no choice but to trust those around him, and in his newfound abilities as a "Demon Gazer"...

Kadokawa Games developed the first Demon Gaze game and released it in Japan in January 2013. Kadokawa Games is co-developing the sequel with experience inc.
