Hi-sCool! Seha Girls Gets Bonus Episode on Series DVD

"Sports Festival" episode ships on November 3

The complete DVD box set of the Hi-sCool! Seha Girls anime will ship in Japan on November 3 and bundle an original anime episode. The episode it titled "Dai-54-Kai Hanpa Jano! Zenryoku de Guu! Yūshō Suru no wa Only You! Subete no Gakkō Gyōji o Kako ni Suru! SeHaGaga Gakuen Taiikusai" (54th "Awesome! As Good As It Gets! Only You Can Achieve Victory! Leaves All Other School Events Behind!" SeHaGaga Academy Sports Festival).

The series premiered in October 2014 and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. Discotek licensed the series for Blu-ray Disc and DVD, and plans to pick a release date soon.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Hi-sCool! Seha Girls revolves around the Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Mega Drive reimagined as girls who have just enrolled in SeHaGaga Academy at Tokyo's Haneda Ōtorii station. They are given an assignment needed to graduate by a suspicious teacher. To clear this requirement, the girls must enter the world of Sega Games to graduate without incident.

Hatsune Miku designer KEI created the original girl designs that inspired this anime. The production used the MikuMikuDance software that has also been used for Minarai Diva, Tesagure! Bukatsu-mono, and KEI's Straight Title Robot Anime.
