This year's 44th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump will publish the final chapter of Kentarō Itani's Takuan and Batsu's Daily Demon Diary (Takuan to Batsu no Nichijō Enmachō) manga. The second compiled volume will ship in Japan on November 4 and the third volume will ship on December 31.
The manga began on May 16, and Viz Media previewed the first three chapters in its English digital edition of Weekly Shonen Jump. Itani first published the manga as a one-shot in the magazine last October, and again in March in the Shonen Jump Next!! magazine. The manga is Itani's debut serialized series.
The manga's story begins with carefree high school student named Takuan, who meets Batsu, daughter of Enma, the king of the underworld. His everyday life is upended in a bizarre comedy.
