Crunchyroll Adds Yuri!!! on Ice, Monster Hunter Stories, Tōken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Show By Rock!!#, Magic-kyun Renaissance, More

Crunchyroll announced on Saturday that it will stream the following series: My Wife is the Student Council President+! (Okusama ga Seitokaichō! +!), Tōken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Show By Rock!!#, Magic-kyun! Renaissance, Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans season 2, and Yuri!!! on Ice.
The company additionally announced that it will begin streaming the Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood series with an English dub on October 3 for members in North America, Central America, and South America. Crunchyroll's announcement didn't state if it will stream the show with subtitles.
Crunchyroll will stream My Wife is the Student Council President+! worldwide outside of Japan on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. EDT uncensored, with censored versions streaming one week later at the same time. The uncensored version will be available for premium members only. Crunchyroll didn't mention a premiere date for the series.
The anime will premiere in Japan on Sunday at 10:30 p.m., and each episode will be 10 minutes long.The "erotic comedy" manga follows a student council vice-president who is betrothed to the student president Ui Wakana as his wife. Rekka Katakiri will return to perform the opening theme song "Kira Kira☆Explorer." The characters Ui Wakana (voiced by Ayana Taketatsu), Rin Misumi (Minami Tsuda), and Honoka Saijō (Sora Tokui) are performing three separate versions of the ending theme song "Koi ni Matsuwaru Et Cetera."
Crunchyroll will begin streaming Tōken Ranbu: Hanamaru on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. EDT, and it will be available for users in the following territories: the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Daisuki will also stream the series in some parts of Europe, but not with English subtitles.
The show will premiere in Japan on Monday at 12:00 a.m. Takashi Naoya (Luck & Logic co-director, Selector Infected Wixoss animation director) is directing the series at Doga Kobo. Junichirō Taniguchi (Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Prison School) is designing the characters, and Pierre Sugiura (Barakamon) is writing and overseeing the scripts. Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell, Eden of the East, Ranma ½) is composing the music. Mitsuhiro Ichiki and Toshiki Masuda perform the opening theme song "Hanamaru◎Hiyori!" (Hanamaru Weather). The anime will have a different ending theme song for each episode, performed by the show's cast.
Crunchyroll will premiere Show By Rock!!#, the second season of the Show By Rock!! anime, on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The anime will be available for users in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
The anime will premiere in Japan on Sunday at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX. Takahiro Ikezoe is returning from the original Show by Rock!! series to direct the anime at BONES. Touko Machida, who wrote the scripts for the first eight episodes of the original anime, is handling the series composition. The main cast members — including the characters from the Plasmagica, Shingan Crimsonz, Tsurezure Naru Ayatsuri Mugenan, Trichronika, and Criticrista bands — are returning from the first season. Yūji Ueda is also returning to play Mable Arisugawa. Plasmagica is performing the opening theme song "Heart wo ROCK!!" and the ending theme song "My Song is YOU!!".
The first Show by Rock!! anime premiered in April 2015, and Funimation streamed the series as it aired in Japan. A series of spinoff shorts, Show By Rock!! Short!!, debuted in July. Funimation streamed the series as it aired.
Crunchyroll will stream Magic-kyun! Renaissance to members worldwide outside of Asia starting on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. EDT.
The series will premiere in Japan on Sunday. Hajime Yatate (a penname for the Sunrise animation staff as a whole) is credited with the original concept. Mitsue Yamazaki (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East) is directing the television anime at Sunrise, after working on the project's earlier promotional shorts. Tomoko Konparu (NANA, Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%, Dance with Devils) is also returning to write the scripts. Kairi Yura (Angelique, The Story of Saiunkoku) drew the original character designs, and Kumi Ishii (Rozen Maiden, Brothers Conflict, Oreimo) is designing the characters for animation.
The ArtiSTARs group, which consists of voice actors Yūichirō Umehara, KENN, Wataru Hatano, Yūki Ono, Shōta Aoi, and Takuya Eguchi as their respective characters, are performing the opening theme song "Magic-kyun No. 1!" as well as the ending theme song "Please kiss my heart."
Crunchyroll began streaming Monster Hunter Stories RIDE ON on Saturday at 11:00 p.m. EDT. The series is available to members in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand.
The series premiered in Japan on Fuji TV on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. CAPCOM is credited with the anime's original work, and Mitsuru Hongo (World Trigger series director, Battle Spirits: Shōnen Toppa Bashin director) is directing the anime at david production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). Natsuko Takahashi (My Love Story!!, 07-Ghost) is writing and overseeing the scripts, and Takuya Saitō (Macross Zero, Outlaw Star) is designing the characters. Male idol group KANJANI Eight is performing the anime's theme song "Panorama."
Funimation has licensed the series and is also streaming the series in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Crunchyroll will announce more details for its stream of the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans at a later date. Daisuki is also streaming the worldwide outside of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Mainland China.
The anime is premiering in Japan on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. Tatsuyuki Nagai is helming the show at Sunrise, with Mari Okada handling series composition. Yū Itō (Shut Hell, Imperial Guards) drew the original character designs, while Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) designed the characters for animation. Naohiro Washio, Kanetake Ebikawa, Ippei Gyōbu, Kenji Teraoka, and Tamotsu Shinohara are designing the mechas for the show. Kusanagi is in charge of art design, and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music.
Crunchyroll will reveal the details of its stream of Yuri!!! on Ice at a later date. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 6 at 2:21 a.m. on TV Asahi.
Manga creator Mitsurou Kubo (Moteki, 3.3.7 Byooshi) and director Sayo Yamamoto (Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, Michiko & Hatchin) are credited with the original work for the series. Yamamoto is also directing and overseeing the scripts for the series, and Kubo is designing the original characters and drawing the storyboards. Additionally, Tadashi Hiramatsu (Parasyte -the maxim-) is adapting the character designs for animation, Kenji Miyamoto is credited with the figure skating choreography, Taro Umebayashi (aka milk from PIANO) and Taku Matsushiba (PIANO) are composing the music, and Keisuke Tominaga (Kids on the Slope, Terror in Resonance music director) is the music producer. MAPPA is animating the series. Dean Fujioka is performing the opening theme song "History Maker," and Wataru Hatano (Hamatora, Polar Bear's Café, The Highschool Life of a Fudanshi) is performing the ending theme song "You Only Live Once."
