OLDCODEX Band Returns to Touring After Yorke's Accident

The official website for the rock band OLDCODEX reported on Tuesday that the band will resume the OLDCODEX Tour 2016-2017 "Fixed Engine" concert series. Band painter and lyricist YORKE. (pictured right) had lost consciousness and sustained injuries during an accident at an October 10 concert at the Yamaguchi Civic Hall, resulting in a tour delay. After consulting with YORKE.'s doctor, the band has confirmed that the members will perform this Sunday in Shanghai, China as planned.
The band's staff is also looking into rescheduling and ticket refunds for a previously delayed tour stop, originally planned for last Saturday at the Fukuoka Sun Palace Hotel and Hall.
The band was performing on October 10 at the Yamaguchi Civic Hall as part of the tour. During the encore performance of the song "kick out," YORKE. fell off the stage and lost consciousness. He underwent a CT scan and other tests at a hospital emergency room, and he was diagnosed with a contusion.
YORKE. returned to Tokyo to undergo advanced examinations last Wednesday. According to these more thorough examinations, he sustained a cerebral concussion, rib fracture, and injuries to his left hand's triangular fibrocartilage and his right leg's femur tendon.

Since Suzuki co-founded the band in 2009, the members have performed songs for the anime togainu no chi, Kuroko's Basketball, Future Diary, Arata The Legend, Bakuman. 3, Free! and Free! Eternal Summer, Q Transformers: Kaettekita Convoy no Nazo, God Eater, High Speed! -Free! Starting Days-, and Servamp.
