Inti Creates announced during its "Gal*Gun TV Returns" livestream event on Niconico on Friday that it is developing a virtual reality Gal Gun game, tentatively titled Gal Gun VR. Inti Creates will announce more information at its "Inti Creates Fan Festa 20th Anniversary" event on November 5.
The staff also unveiled a screenshot of Gal*Gun: Double Peace's heroine Shinobu Kamizono stuck in a window.
Voice actress Emi Uema (voice of Shinobu Kamizono) and Inti Creates public relations staff member Shigeru hosted the event.
The most recent game in the series, Gal*Gun: Double Peace, shipped in Japan in August 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. PQube released the game for the same systems on July 29 in Europe and August 2 in North America. PQube then released the game for PC via Steam on September 27.
The shooting game franchise has players dealing with waves of girls with "Pheromone Shots." Players can also pinpoint the girls' weak spots with "Ecstasy Shots" and other special weapons. The new game is set at the Sakurazaki Third High School one year after the previous game.
