Fullmetal Alchemist, other Square Enix titles included

Manga publisher Yen Press and comiXology announced on Monday that comiXology is adding Yen Press manga to its digital reading platform.

The platform launched 1,200 manga and manhwa volumes from Yen Press on Monday. In addition to titles previously published by Yen Press — such as Black Butler, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Akame ga Kill! — the platform has also added the Fullmetal Alchemist, O-Parts Hunter, The Record of a Fallen Vampire, and Nightmare Inspector: Yumekui Kenbun manga. These titles have been published in print by Viz Media, but Yen Press collaborates with their Japanese publisher Square Enix to release Square Enix manga digitally in English.

Yen Press also shared the full first chapter of the Kingdom Hearts II manga on io9.

Amazon purchased ComiXology in 2014. The platform also offers manga titles from other publishers, including Kodansha Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Seven Seas Entertainment, and Viz Media.
