AnimeJapan 2017 Reveals List of Stage Events, Exhibited Works

Lists include works with no announced anime projects

The AnimeJapan convention revealed its list of stage events on Friday for its four stages (red, blue, green, and open stage). The following works, people, and events are listed as having stage events:

The Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story smartphone game doesn't have an anime adaptation announced. The description for the stage event states "We will present you the latest information of 'MAGIA RECORD PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA SIDE STORY', coming up in spring 2017!" The game is slated for spring 2017 in Japan.

AnimeJapan's list includes several stage programs that haven't been announced yet.

The website for the convention additionally released a list on December 8 of exhibited works that will be featured at the convention. The listed works include Angel Beats! 1st Beat, VisualArt's/Key's first visual novel adaptation of the Angel Beats! anime, as well as Clannad and Little Busters!.

Other projects listed that don't currently have announced anime projects include: Band Yarouze!, Black Pupil, Hinabachi: BEE, Die Now, Kaifeng Story, Link - Planets, Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Man Tou, Mr. Ju, Eikoku Tantei Mysteria (Mysteria The Crown), nojyaneko, One Hundred Thousand Bad Jokes, Onmyoji, Princess Connect! Re:Dive, Sen-goku-shi, Sengoku Night Blood, Stand My Heroes, STAR, Swing!, The Marble Littles, The Rakshasa Street, Twins×Twins, and Umamusume: Pretty Dirby.

In addition, Cygames lists that its booth will feature the Rage of Bahamut: Manaria Friends anime, which was scheduled to premiere on April 1, but was indefinitely delayed. Gonzo and Production I.G will also showcase the anime they are currently working on.

The 2017 event will be the convention's fourth event, and will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight, with industry-only days on March 23-24, and public days on March 25-26. AnimeJapan had announced on December 8 that the 2017 convention will feature 182 companies, an increase over last year. The convention will exhibit 158 companies in the main area and 52 companies in the business area.
