DLC pack including Cabba, Frost as playable characters releases on Tuesday

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming a trailer for the first DLC pack of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 game on Saturday. The DLC pack releases on Tuesday for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and includes both free and paid content.

The first paid DLC pack includes playable characters Cabba and Frost, master Hit, five attacks, three quests, two costumes, and five Super Souls. The free DLC includes new skills for SSGSS Goku and Hit, six costumes, four attacks, the Frieza's Siege event, and a Raid Quest. The trailer also revealed that Bandai Namco Entertainment will release new playable characters including Champa, Vados, Zamasu, SS Rosé Goku Black, and SSGSS Vegito in future DLC updates.

Bandai Namco Entertainment released the game for PS4 and Xbox One in North America on October 25 and in Europe on October 28. The company released the game on PC via Steam worldwide on October 28, and released the game for PS4 in Japan on November 2.

Players fight to "protect the history of Dragon Ball" in the game. In the game's story, Time Patrollers go on missions to prevent history from being changed. However, there may be parts of history that they would like to change.

Dimps developed the title after it worked on the first Xenoverse game.

The first game shipped for the PS4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan on February 5, 2015. The game then debuted in the United States on February 24, 2015 and in Europe on February 27, 2015. The game also debuted on PC via Steam on February 27, 2015.
