Fukumoto is double cast with Shimura. The main cast also includes Mariko Shinoda, Ruito Aoyagi, Ren Imai, Raychell, IZAM, Saaya, Hikaru Ōta, Kaiki Ōhara, Yōsuke Ishida, Tsutomu Ikeda, and Mikihisa Azuma. Saaya played Olivia Price, and Raychell played Sophie Home in the first stage play adaptation.

Katsuhide Suzuki is directing the play and writing the scripts. Noriyasu Agematsu from ElementsGarden will compose a song for the play, and Raychell will perform the song.

The play will tell an original story centering of 13 men and women who wake up and find themselves trapped inside a Western-style house. After introducing themselves, they resolve to work together to find a way out. However, zombies lurk in the house. The group's situation becomes more and more desperate as new allies begin to distrust each other in a fight for survival.

The official website began streaming a teaser video in December:

The advance ticket sales period launched on Sunday and will run until January 27. Single tickets cost 8,500 yen (about US$73), and pair tickets cost 16,000 yen (US$137).

The first Resident Evil stage play debuted in October 2015. A stage musical, starring former Takarazuka Revue actress Reon Yuzuki, ran from September to November last year.
