Netflix to Stream The Seven Deadly Sins Anime's 'Season 2' in February

The Seven Deadly Sins -Signs of Holy War- TV special premiered last August

Netflix began streaming a video on Wednesday that reveals that it will begin streaming "season 2" of The Seven Deadly Sins anime beginning on February 17.

Netflix is already streaming all 24 episodes of the television anime. A four-episode television anime special titled The Seven Deadly Sins -Signs of Holy War- premiered last August.

Tomokazu Tokoro (Hellsing Ultimate, Haibane Renmei) directed the television special at A-1 Pictures. Yuniko Ayana (Girls Beyond the Wasteland, Hello!! KINMOZA) writing and overseeing the scripts, and Yuichiro Kido (Gatchaman Crowds insight) also wrote the scripts. Keigo Sasaki returned to design the characters, Tomoko Sudo (animation director for Oreshura, Silver Spoon) was the chief animation director, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Takafumi Wada composed the music. MUCC performed the opening theme song "CLASSIC." Alisa Takigawa performed the ending theme song "Iroasenai Hitomi."

The special ended with an ad for a new television series, but no information on a full new season has been announced.

The first television anime of the manga premiered in Japan in October 2014, and ended with 24 episodes. The manga also bundled two original video anime projects in 2015.
