Azoland Pictures added that it will announce more theaters on its website and on the official Love Live! website that will screen the concert at a later date. Ticket holders will receive a "special giveaway item" at participating theaters while supplies last.
The official website for the Love Live! anime franchise had announced earlier on Friday that the concert will have theatrical live-screenings in eight countries, including: South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
The single is the group's seventh in a row to reach the top 5 on Oricon's weekly ranking charts, beginning with the group's first single, "Kimi no Kokoro wa Kagayaiteru kai?," which ranked #3 with 48,000 copies in its first week in October 2015. The group's sixth single, "Yume de Yozora o Terashitai/Mijuku DREAMER," ranked #2 in September.
The Love Live! Sunshine!! project was first announced in February 2015. The project's three key phrases are "Reader Participation," "Inspired by μ's," and "Seaside Town Setting." The group's name Aqours was chosen by fans by popular vote.
